Christmas is here, the cold that invites us to stay home with family and friends, and there is nothing better than a mulled wine to warm the body and soul. Yes, because at The Therapist we advocate for conscious and functional nutrition, but also a flexible one, in which we can have these small moments of pleasure.
So here is our recipe for mulled wine with spices:
Ingredients:
- One bottle of red wine
- One orange
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Star anise to taste (we suggest 1 unit)
- Cloves to taste (we suggest 3 units)
- 3 tablespoons of rice syrup or coconut sugar
Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients except the rice syrup in a pot and heat over the stove until hot, without letting it boil.
- Add the rice syrup and mix well.
- Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- To serve, strain and pour into heat-resistant mugs.
Suggestion: if you want to give it an intense spice flavor, you can always use our Golden Ginger to give it that different touch.
