Healthy and simple recipes ● What to eat post-detox?

Apr 27, 2025

Completing a detox is an important moment: the body feels lighter, more alert, and it is essential to keep caring for it.
The post-detox phase is the consolidation stage — an opportunity to keep the body balanced by avoiding heavy, processed, or very sugary foods.

The ideal approach is to opt for light meals, rich in fiber, antioxidants, and easily digestible proteins. In this way, we prolong the benefits of the detox, keep our energy levels high, and continue the well-being that was initiated.

To help you, we have created a practical and delicious plan for the day after your detox:

Breakfast: Oatmeal Bowl with Banana and Seeds

  • Ingredients:
    • ½ cup gluten-free rolled oats
    • 1 cup plant-based milk (almond or oat)
    • 1 ripe banana
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
    • 1 dessert spoon of Detox Blend to boost the detox results
    • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • Preparation:
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the plant-based milk and add the oats.
  2. Cook over low heat until the oats are creamy.
  3. Turn off the heat, mix in the Detox Blend and stir well.
  4. Serve with banana slices, chia seeds, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Morning Snack: Green Smoothie

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup fresh spinach
    • ½ frozen banana
    • ½ green apple
    • 1 teaspoon spirulina
    • 200 ml coconut water
  • Preparation:
  1. Blend all ingredients until you have a creamy texture.
  2. Drink immediately to get all the nutrients.

Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad with Quinoa and Avocado

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 organic chicken breast, grilled
    • ½ cup cooked quinoa
    • ½ avocado, sliced
    • 1 handful of arugula and watercress
    • Juice of ½ lemon
    • Extra virgin olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Seeds to taste (sesame, sunflower, flax)
  • Preparation:
  1. Grill the chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix the quinoa with the green leaves, the avocado, and add the seeds.
  3. Place the sliced chicken on the side and drizzle with olive oil and lemon.

Afternoon Snack: Coconut Yogurt with Functional Granola Topping

  • Preparation:
  1. Serve the yogurt in a bowl.
  2. Add the granola and some berries on top.

Dinner: Grilled Tuna with Sweet Potato Puree and Cilantro Vinaigrette

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 fresh tuna loin (approx. 150-200 g)
    • 1 medium sweet potato
    • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 pinch of nutmeg (optional)
    • Sea Salt and black pepper to taste
    • 1 handful of fresh cilantro (for the vinaigrette)
    • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (for the vinaigrette)
    • Juice of ½ lemon
    • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional, for added acidity)
    • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Preparation:
  1. Prepare the puree: Cook the sweet potato in water until soft. Drain well and mash until smooth and creamy. Season with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and a pinch of nutmeg, if desired.
  2. Grill the tuna: Season the tuna loin with Sea Salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick pan until very hot and grill the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side to keep the inside still succulent.
  3. Make the vinaigrette: Finely chop the cilantro and mix it with the olive oil, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Adjust acidity and salt to taste.
  4. Assemble the dish: Spread the sweet potato puree as a base, place the grilled tuna on top, and drizzle generously with the fresh cilantro vinaigrette.

Post-detox is a phase of continuity and dietary intelligence. It is not just about "returning to normal," but about building a new foundation of well-being through the choices we make.

The recipes we have prepared were designed to offer everything you need after a detox: hydration, clean energy, lightness, and balance.
We chose ingredients such as:

  • Sweet potato, rich in fiber and antioxidants, to provide slow-release energy without sugar spikes.

  • Fresh tuna, a source of lean protein and omega-3, fundamental for reducing inflammation and supporting the cardiovascular system.

  • Spinach and cilantro, which provide essential antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to boost the immune system and promote natural detoxification.

  • Quinoa, fruits, and seeds, for their nutritional richness and ease of digestion, essential for keeping the digestive system light and active.

More than following a plan, it is important that you feel good.
May these suggestions be your starting point for maintaining lightness, energy, and vitality long after the detox.
